01

Is the Child Burn Foundation a registered and regulated 501(c)(3) Non-Profit?

The Child Burn Foundation was formed in 2012 and is currently a pending non-profit. We hope to be up and running within the very near future to assist burn survivors and their families. We are also a pending federally regulated 501(c)(3) organization. Your cash donation or other gift to the Child Burn Foundation for which you do not receive goods or services may be fully tax-deductible. For more specific tax information, consult with your tax adviser.

02

How does the Child Burn Foundation use my donation or gift?

As a newly formed foundation, there are several ways your donations and gifts are distributed. The Child Burn Foundation provides financial assistance to burn survivors and their families directly. This may come in the form of medical care, emergency housing, or transportation. We also provide other charities, educators and the medical community with grants and direct financial assistance.

03

What is BurnSocial?

BurnSocial is a powerful social network platform dedicated to burn survivors and the burn community in general. We welcome burn survivors of all ages and their families, educators and medical professionals. 04

Does the Child Burn Foundation run annual camps for burn survivors?

Not at this time, however, we are working on creating our very own annual burn survivor camp and kids festival. In the meantime, we provide financial assistance when needed for other burn camps.

05

Does the Child Burn Foundation provide it's annual financial report to the public?

Yes! We are in the process of completing our annual financial statement. Our goal is to distribute 85% of all donations directly to burn survivors, burn centers, and local burn charities. We will distribute funds based on "cause and need" after qualified applicants are approved. The Child Burn Foundation DOES NOT solicit direct phone donations at this time.
