Burns are among the most painful and devastating injuries a child can sustain and survive. As a pending 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Child Burn Foundation is dedicated to providing support and other financial assistance to burn survivors, families, educators, rehabilitation centers, and the medical community.
Did you know?

How to help:
Children who experience severe burns face some of the most difficult hardships and challenges throughout their lives. The Child Burn Foundation's success is built on a network of volunteers throughout the U.S. and individual and corporate donations.
Volunteer: Do you have extra time? Do you believe in helping those less fortunate. Donating your time as one of our volunteers or becoming an intern can be very rewarding.
Donations: As a nationally recognized and registered non-profit, all charitable donations are tax-deductible.

Know Your Water Temperature:
Do you know the temperature of your water? Did you know that 130 degree water can burn a child within seconds? Every year, more than 5,000 children are seriously burned by hot tap water. Simple, cost effective techniques can change a life forever.
What to do if your child is burned:
When a child is burned, caregivers can go into "shock and panic" mode. However, child burn injuries require immediate care and knowing what to do "right now" can save a child's life.
